If the shots were given subq and you had not lump, I would actually worry that the kids didn't receive enough colostrum. In handling triplets and quads in all goats, and even large twins on new moms, colostrum is the most important consideration. If you are going to leave them on mom than tube or bottle colostrum from another goat, or saved frozen from the last kiddings. I would look at the product ID-1 that Goatworld sells to perhaps boost their immunity. 18 days old is just on the cusp of the 21 days in which you need for cocci, worms etc. to be taking hold. I start all my kids on a sulfa at 21 days. We also worm them on that day if they ware born in the spring. Might want to take a temp here and there an watch them for pnemonia also. If they do get penmonia, or rattles, you probably have some failure of transfer of immunity from lack of adequate colostrum. Vicki
