600-day lactation

Hi! Has anyone herd about a possibility of leaving goats on a 600 day-lactation period for special means, for example when the owner lost all his replacements goats and need to keep on producing milk? I'm trying to find something on the net on this, and I have a hard time finding the info I need. Thanks for your help!
