Here's another question for Vicki!! I've noticed several times you've said you "hide" the lump from the CD/T vaccine in the muscle. The label says to give the shot SQ and sometimes I've had no lump at all and then again it will be a huge nasty place. I know people who give the shot in the muscle and thought I would try that since it doesn't leave a big sore...then I read the animals were more likely to have a reaction to the tetanus vaccine....What's a goatkeeper to do??? I suppose you've never had a problem with giving the vaccine in the muscle or you wouldn't keep doing it!! Why would someone say the animal is more likely to react when giving the vaccine that way?
