Lots of older Nubain bloodlines, including mine carry large throat latches. Some folks will call them iodine goiters, but we know this is just something a healthy milkfed kid has. We have heard that this is from nursing a bottle rather than mom, because it takes more muscle to nurse a nipple rather than mom. Makes no difference to me since even bucks left on Mom have them! We have tried kelp and iodine to get rid of these with no success. If he was older with this you would think bottle jaw from worms. Salivary cysts are usually mushy and filled with saliva, and they usually have these from birth. I wouldn't woory about him very much. 3 weeks is the perfect age to worm and start him on a cocci treatment though. Good luck with you kid, he seems to be very lucky to have you pulling for him!
