I'm so sorry to hear about the loss. It's always tough. I'd be curious to know if she had been drinking the same water as the rest of the herd. Also, when exactly did she kid? I have heard experiences where there will be an unborn fetus that can cause sudden death as such. Other ideas might be if she got a hold of a poisonous plant or something. There are so many factors and possibilities.
Your mention of her drinking "extra" water....has it been particularly hot in your location? I was suprised to discover just how much water goats actually do drink in a days time. How about snakes? Any poisonous snakes in your area?
I know these are not definitive answers but perhaps they will be of some help.
