Hello Vicki,

I would think that some of the legal web sites such as THELEGALEDGE.COM would be able to assist you with this.

From my past experience, a contract is a contract and is an agreement between two parties. That is, the boarding contract can contain anything you want it to contain as long as both parties agree to the terms, restrictions and covenants set forth within.

So with all that said and done, I personally would sit down and make a list of all the things that you expect from a boarding arrangement. This is where you might receive input and help from others here and on other goats sites as well who have boarded their animals in the past. They can tell you what to be aware of, what to look out for, etc.

One other small bit of advice - always make sure that everything you can think of is covered and distinctly spelled out no matter how small or trivial it may seem. It's usually these small details that are overlooked and then magnified into large problems if they are not covered.

Just an idea.

Best regards,

Gary
