Recently this was discussed on Nubian Talk. I think some one found some statistics and there was only 1 percentage point between hermies happening in nonpolled and polled goats. Something like 18 & 19 percent of the time it occurs. To me that isn't enough difference to make an issue about it. I have had polled Boer/Stiff/Nubian cross does and so far no hermies or breeding problems. Maybe the previous owner has done an exam and knew more than they told the buyer. I did have a Nubian doeling one time that by 6 mos of age was displaying buck mannerisms but I could never find any buck parts on her. I would give her a chance.
