We had to bottle feed for a few days because of sick doe, we tried the bottle first. No Way! They didn't want anything to do with it. So we sought the advice of others and this was our process. First we syringed milk into their mouth. Be careful, to much to quick may go into their lungs. Little by little. This worked. Then we graduated to a plastic pepsi bottle, one that you can squeeze, we put the milk in it and the nipple on top and then added alittle flavor on the nipple, try milk or something sweet (honey) then as you approach the kid squeeze the bottle. They did take to it after awhile. Again careful not to choke them. Sorry about the mom. Did you ever find out what she died of? Watch the babies. I am still very new but I can tell you I am getting lots of experience. Best of Luck.
