OKAY...enough already. Just kidding. But, since I'm here. I live in Georgia and have 50 Boer goats that seem to enjoy the barn on some of these "HOT" Southern nights. My barn is ventolated with fans, so the barn can feel pretty nice. The problem that I had with free range chickens was that they also enjoyed the barn and would roost in the rafters. The next morning the goats and the barn floor looked like a flock of geese flew over during the night. There was chicken doo-doo everywhere. I found this NOT acceptable. But other than that they were good about cleaning up after the goats. Any feed spillage would be cleaned up by the chickens. Of course that night the chickens would get back up in the rafters and deposit it all back out on the floor. I'm sure that Freud has gotten more information about chickens that you would ever expect on a GOAT site. So...I'm through.
