All my goats are born pretty big, so ihave always let them suckel untill they started playing with their nipple.Most will quit eating when their full.when mine are eating hay and grain well I pan feed , about a gal. morning and a gal. at bed time.Three are pan feeding right now. I never give cold milk. Im told by my vet it can give them dieria.The moms wean 2 to 3 months I wean according to the weather Ilive in Colo.Very cold at night. goat mom.
