Yes they can be bred. But of course you need to know the goal of the breeding. Is this sire on both kids paperwork, adding exactly what you want to your bloodlines. His other daughters, his dam and other relatives are so superior that you are keeping a son out of him, rather than using him again? An actually a half sister/half brother breeding with the dams unrelated isn't all that close of a linebreeding. When you set the buck and doe you want to breed..paperwork on a table across from each other, the best breedings are usually thoughs that have triangles of related animals going back and forth between the pedigrees.
