This is a sad story. But I wonder which came first the chicken or the egg. Was there a void in the marriage that the goats(hobby) filled or did the hobby do it on its own. Sometimes there has to be a scapegoat (no pun intended) and the easiest thing to point at gets the blame when that is not at all the case. I am not saying that goats can't get all consuming. I am on another goatlist, although am probably going to drop it soon, that talks about buying goats for up to $1,000.00 and up a head. They run to shows from state to state and go to the nationals and other meetings like a great mecca. I think that it is just so easy to blame one thing when in reality it is something much deeper. Just my little pea brain thoughts this early morning. Dalice
