You know that almost sounds what we went through with Bill E Jack last summer. The only difference was that he lost mobilization in his hind legs and was literally dragging them around..

I contacted Goat 911 and they suggested Goat Polio or Listerious (spelling??) as well..They suggested Penicillin and also B12 shots..which seemed to have helped his condition..We were on our way to Flordia when all of this happened and I was a nervous wreck, my father inlaw took care of him, giving him his meds and checked on him and he said that it took about 2 days for him to get full mobilization back in his hind legs and he was still a little "star gazzy" for a few days after that..

Since then I have seen that "Star Gazzy" thing in Eris..we have given her B12 shots and it seems to help it. Although with Eris I am not exactly sure what is wrong with her..she has not been "right" since she had her c-section. Mike seems to think she did not come out the anestesia right or something..She is just as sweet as can be, but she will go into the star gazzy thing on occasion, she is also really clingy when you go into the goat pen and sometimes looks at you like she is looking right through you..

I would like to take her to the vet to see if someone can tell me EXACTLY what it is, but unfortunatly we do not have a vet anywhere local anymore..they got rid of our good vets..I won't even go to that clinic anymore..Unfortunatly every one else deals with cattle not goats..Plus right now I do not have the $$'s to take her..Most of the time she is fine..
