Hi All:

Came in off the road today to discover 4 new babies - triplets and one single!! They were in the barn but still it is cold and of course, Mom's had to have them shoved right about against the wall - where the frost is clearly showing. Brought the single one in to the house, dried it off and warmed it up and took it back to Ma. Looking at the triplets, noticed that 2 of them were knuckling under - their feet and legs were wet and cold but they sure are feisty. Any ideas on why they are knuckling under - cold or something more sinster - and if so, what do I need to do. Right now, two of them are in my living room drying off and warming up. As soon as I brought them in, they laid down and are sound asleep. Our German Shepard thinks they are puppies and is licking the daylites out of them. Now, I'm afraid to look tomorrow - I never saw the Billy doing his thing but I quess he was - these are all Nubians (my other Billy was Alpine cross). Sure hope that these little feet are going to be ok.

Back to the barn

Kari
