Goat Mineral Mix Diatomaceous Earth

Hi,
I found your site when I looked up goat abcesses. I raise meat goats and have had a very clean small herd.
To raise orphan kids I purchased a young milk goat from a local breeder who has been here for over 20 years.
The goat grew an abcess on her jaw which broke on its own before I could open it.
This was my very 1st experience with anything of this kind. I talked to another local breeder and she said they just get them sometimes. This one cleared up very nicely and none of my other goats seem to have any. She is my only dairy goat.
NOW! she has another one on her shoulder. It hasn't broken yet and from everything I can read this goat should be culled NOW!!
However, from what I can find there are two kinds of abcesses. This one did not smell really bad.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Dixie
