Last week I wrote about my friends doe that had some bloody discharge but never had the baby and that the vet said it was probably just the mucus plug and to give her time since it was her first one. Well last night we (I say we because I am down there a lot) got a baby girl. the cutest little girl I have seen. She is all a deep mahogany with very little blak mixed in and has 3 white feet a white leg and a white Star. Of course I have been wanting to see a birth and when I got home from church my husband said hurry and change close we need to get to Alicias the goat is having a baby. so I frantically get ready and we get there only to find out she had had it about 5-10 minutes before we got there. But after seeing her it was fine because she is soooooooo cute!!! Alicia named her after my oldest daughter because she was there getting everything Alicia needed to help the momma out. the babies name is Maria. I told alicia that I guess i'll have to wait until November now to try to get to help with some births as she is bredding to get some in Nov. about 10 does at least so I'm sure she will be needing help as they will probably all go real close together!!! I can't wait!!! Well thanks for listening and sorry for any typos I still am excited!! Denise
