A lot of times on cattle, ringworm sometimes does not have its tipical "ring shaped" hair loss patch and just looks like a few sores. I usually wash my animals in an iodine based shampoo, or another pet fungicide one and then apply the blue-coat spray to the spot. It usually runs its course in a few weeks, and hair will slowly return.
Also, have you wormed them lately? and ruled out any mite, or other skin parasite?? Have they been body clipped yet this year?
If its ringworm, it is zoonotic so be carefull. I got it from my wether a few years ago and it sure does leave a funny looking spot on you! :-)
