Albon is a sulfa drug that I think is the best thing to use to cure Coccidia and also used on a regular monthly routine will prevent an overload of cocci. My vet tells me that it is an excellent med for many stomach problems and to use it first to try to cure the problem before going to antibiotics. Like, if I have a grown doe that has a loose stool for 2 or 3 days I will give her about 8 cc of Albon for 2 days. If it doesn't stop I give her 4 cc for 3 more days. Usually it stops after 1 dose. Grown goats can also get an overload of cocci when they have other health problems or stressed for some reason.
