Lightening strike hits goat

Well, as the cold front came ripping through this afternoon, my close friend went to do chores and found her milker with singed hair, weak, and in obvious pain. The goats were left in the barn (a 12x 24 shed) and it appears from what we can piece together (literally.. 2x4's split, ect.. pieces everywhere) the lightening either hit the barn or fence - or traveled through lines from teh house and the exit route was this goats's pen. The goat was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anyway, I called my local vet for some advice and we ended up giving the doe some Banimine for the pain and swelling. She ate grain, and is alert... just very nervous of the barn, and in pain. If we see no improvement, we'll call the vet asap but there isnt too much more they can do that we havnt' done already.

When power is back we'll shave the burned hair off to make sure there are no flesh wounds (didnt feel any.. but see how it heals). Any else have similar experiences?
