Very interesting, I was wondering about those two plants myself. My Nubian recently pulled a ripe tomato from the vine and ate it. She loved it and the juice ran down her chin as she chewed!
Now, what about other scraps or extras from the garden? I've given mine the tops (greens) of redbeet plants, watermelon rind, cantaloupe, carrot slices, and windfalls from the apple tree. What other produce is good (or NOT good) for the goats?
