I've been following a few posts, and then always have my e-mail lists... and was wondering if someone could enlighten us about the new scrapie program USDA, or some other agency is trying to enforce on the goat industry. I remember reading about it on the ADGA page, with talk of testing, and manditory tracking of animals.
Is this just hearsay, or what?
And how does scrapies get goats involved? From what I understand, this whole program is a political answer to a scientific question as we still arn't exactly sure what makes this problem tick, ect..
