Hi Gary
We have two pot-bellied pigs. We got them from a professional breeder about a year ago. When I asked her about keeping them with the goats, she said that the goats were too "exciteable" for the pigs, and that they would "upset" the pigs and make them nervous(she is really a pot-bellied pig person-had about 100 of them). Her pot-bellied pigs lived in pens with Emus. Well, after having my pigs for a year, I really don't see any reason why they couldn't live with the goats. The thing is these little monsters really will tear up the pasture. The pen that we made for them now looks like a landmine. Pigs don't really need alot of room. I don't know about yours, but mine aren't too energetic. We made a fenced in area with t-posts and hog panel. We put a plastic swimming pool in the pen in the summer-for swimming. Needless to say, these pigs are my daughters, and she is going to college next year, so I am looking for a new home for them. Want a couple more???LOL I like them, but I am just not really a "pig" person.
~Mary
