The new goats

Posted by Karen on December 09, 2001 at 19:18:42:

Well it's been a long weekend so glad it's almost Monday ;). The scratch on my eye is almost healed : ). and feels much better. Still I was unable to ride this weekend, at the rodeo my husband hit the dirt, again. While we were at the rodeo it snowed for the entire time(this is 3hrs north of home), I think I've had enough for the year. We picked up the new goats and chickens today. The girls were very thin they bucks were very fat, I am going to hit them hard w/wormer in the am. Sorta glad to get the Sannan doe back she is nice the Nubian will have to go in 2 months her feet just got terrible again. Still don't know about the bucks the larger one has a black hood and white body the other I think is tri colored it was getting too dark to really look at them. The chickens (this is weird) were Araconas, we were going to go get the very same type. Hope you all had a good relaxing weekend. See ya
