Hi Cindy,

I'm so sorry that your little buck didn't make it. Sometimes these things happen this way - you did all you could to save him. I know it's a tough way to gain experience but it may be helpful in your next situation. As I was saying before, sometimes twins and multiple births cause problems like these for whatever reason.

At least you still have your little doe to concentrate on now. It will make her that much more special. I'm sorry that we could not have been more help to save the little guy. You gave it your best shot and we were all pulling for you. So chin up my friend. We'll still be here if you need help and perhaps I can write a Topic of the Day article regarding a few of the basics and the essentials to have on hand just in case.
