Whew..thank you Gary!! (smile)..I re checked the Magnessium and it does say 8.00%..maybe it is a typo on their part..I will check again when I am ready to buy another bag.

Actually my goats are lighter in color..I mean no pure blacks or pure dark browns. The ones w/the brown and black have more white in them.

I did find though interestingly enough it was the all white goats or the lighter colored ones, that did most of the tree bark eating..which if I remember correctly is suppose to be a sign of copper deficiency. (correct me if I am wrong) We only started giving the loose mineral verses the lick, last week..and I also read in that Natural Goat Care book that a copper dificiency can also be the cause of colds and pneumonia..so far I don't see any sniffles but I am not sure you would see a difference so quickly..

Anyway thank you for that info Gary (smile)
