The boer cross kids in our opinion are much stronger. They are on their feet and sucking in no time. We have a full blood boer buck and love the boer cross kids. They have very good attitudes and if bottle fed or played with make great pets. We have found they are alot less apt to get the diseases that the dairy goats get. As you will see we have had lots of trouble after we brought dairy goats into our herd but other than the young just weaned young ones, we didn't loose any boer cross. We are from South central Minnesota and sell most of our boer cross billies and some of the nanny kids if you are interested. BUT only when we are sure they are totally healthy.
