Ah but I love the snow (smile)....We usually seperate our hens w/their chicks after we know all the eggs that will hatch, have hatched, our roosters like to get at the chicks. We have no chicks here this winter, we got rid of most of our adult birds, and now only have babies..they have not begun to lay yet.

We have some sort of monsoon coming (rain)..the goats are really funny..they will go outside and then when the wind starts up, they all hall butt into the barn..I have been watching them out the window running back and fourth..It is unusally warm today..and very windy. not such a good thing!!

Good luck w/your babies..arent' they sooo cute!!
