Very mild here - I dont mind a bit! just as long as it dosnt get cold again. Last year we had a mild spell then it got very viciously cold again killing buds on early leafing trees. By the time May hit, you could see in the valley what trees were affected as it looked like some disease hit.

Hopefully it's still rain outside. I have to patch a hole in my barn's roof because it leaks horribly on the goat's side. (road side) They redid the non-raod side a few years back because our town is permit crazy.. hehe.. No one heard that one! shhh.. Its been too cold to really patch the holes so I'm expecting a big puddle thsi morning. You know its time to patch holes when you have evreything int he barn positioned around leaks :-D

Happy spring to all, or else dont worry, winter will soon be over.

Already in mud season early,

-Nat's Little bit

p.s. Little Rosie the Riviter is doing well. Can't really tell she had a problem when she's running among the yearlings, ect. If you do put an ear or stephascope (sp..lol ?) you can hear that very audible machine-like noise. Not runted at all so maybe she'll be lucky enough to live a long happy life!
