Yep Nat, I was thinking of your little doe when I saw her panting. It's not winter fat, as she is on the slim side.....another reason I'm thinking it may be cardiac related. On the upside-she was hanging out at the bucks fence line, and he was doing the "slobber-grunt-spit" act, so maybe she isn't bred, which would ease my anxieties.(yes the fence is triple reinforced now). I will have the vet give a listen to her heart next time he is out. Thanks for your input.
