There's a goat in a similar situation here in Tenn where I live.. Me and a friend go boating and swimming at Percy Priest Lake & Dam just outside of Nashville about 35 miles from my home. This is a huge lake and there are several inlands on the lake. Someone took a goat over to one of the inlands probably over 5 years ago now and the goat has lived on the inland witch is named GoatInland all this time. There are no dogs on the inland in the middle of the lake so the goat has nothin to fear. The Inland is probably close to 5 or 6 acres in size. I noticed last year when we were at the lake most of the trees are stripped of the bark half way up. The goat looks to be just a brush goat and his horns are about 2 foot in length and he looks to be in perfect health to me.. There is no shealter for him on the inland but he has servived for years. I just hope he's there when we go back to the lake this summer I look forward to seeing him.
