Well not to bad of a day. My former best friend Dalice called me and woke me up at the way to early hour of 9:30 yelling at me "what do you want and why are you still in bed." Now we always do this to each other but if you are not awake you can't focus let alone retaliate, but I am working on it. After yelling back for a few and politly excusing myself I got everybody fed Lambs included and the phone rang, my barn help was comming over 3 hrs sooner than expected seems he was motivated and ready to work. Not a problem, chores weren't done the animals were not locked out of the barn and there was no path to the door he would have to use. In half an hour it was all done of course goathater came out just as I was starting and said hey gotta go to work, GOOD THING HE IS CUTE!!!! The job was much larger than he thought and the sheep are still outside, not happy at all about it either. I haven't decided what to do with them yet I already have 2 more in the house and 2 more in the fenced yard (fenced for my children) than I would like. Thinking the sheep milk would be better for my small lambs than goat milk I decided to milk their mom. Did I mention she is a Suffolk they are about the size of a small pony and not handled. It went better than milking that crazy LaMoncha, the sheep didn't try to bite me or kick : ). And my hands are baby butt soft. I am thinking the LaMoncha needs a new home she is awful and has learned how to jump 4' fences, since she is only 2' off the ground you would think this is hard, apparently it's not. This whole sheep milking brings to mind one question....If I am excentric (this is to be expected to a point as I am artistically inclined) at 32 how amusing will you all find me when I am 52. Think hard before you answer and please find a "HOME" that is not in the city. City people will not get me at all. Happy Milking
