I am with Dalice no horns here, at least not by the end of the month. I was given a very nice Pygmy buck, of the older meat style he of course has horns over a foot long. He is also very aggressive he butted a wether through the fence!! And if one of the girls even thinks about comming in heat he really uses his horns to push them around it's terrible! I too have Boers and shame on me my reg. buck is w/o horns. For some reason the little bugger didn't grow right (probally coci) but I couldn't imajine having a 200#+ buck with horns when I hardly go over 100# it was just asking for trouble. 3 of the Boer girls still have horns but as soon as I find the dremel the will loose them as well. Anyway off to milk the crazy LaMoncha and the sheep. I have two sheep I am milking now. One poor old Jacob lambed this am in the cold and lost the little guy. Since we are planning on doubling our sheep (at least) I can't see waisting the milk. Besides I need it for the lambs in the house. The are doing well by the way. Boer doe still hasn't kidded we are waiting not very calmly I might add. You can feel there is at least two in there we are watching her very close. Saanan and her twins are doing well also.
