Seems like I was just on here about this same thing, but I guess it was nearly 4 weeks ago. THis pinkeye is highly contagious goats to goats. I tried every rememdy I read about and it does have to just run its course. Out of 30 some goats I had varying degrees of the disease. THe young kids mostly just got the gunky eyes and got over it very quickly with nothing being done. The older goats ranged from no symptoms at all to stone blind in both eyes for about two weeks. The stone blind ones are just now coming around to be able to see. I had to feed them alone if they couldn't make their way to the feed dish and water bucket. It is a very tiring procedure. I think the last thing I used was a gentacin spray to their eyes and that seemed to be the best. I tell you I did everything. LA200 injections and drops in the eyes. Sulfa eye drops, terramycin ointment. You name it, I tried it. Time is the greatest healer I do believe. Dalice
