Hey all after waiting half of a news show for a story that was to be truly amazing and unreal I was left dumbfounded and speechless. Ok so the speechless part is a lie I haven't stoppe going on about it. Our local news station had a story they said could not be explained by them or local farmers they are all just stumped. Now what could be so amazing you ask that a news crew go to a farm and shoot a story, pump it up for half the brodcast before they let you in on it....here it goes.......a chicken. Yes I said a chicken. The amazing thing is this chicken lays green eggs and nobody knows why. Now I understand that not all people know about chickens, maybe even some of us on goatworld have not heard of a green egg laying hen. BUT before something like this makes the news don't you think the news team should research it?? One lady even went so far to say there was no way she would eat a green egg that it was just too strange. Isn't that the same type of thing Oprah did with the cattle men? Look how much trouble she got into. Now for what I can't believe I did. I told the News channel what I thought and basically that if we can't trust them to research a small story like the chicken how can we trust that the major stories are true and to the point? I also went on to tell them that not only do my chickens lay green eggs but blue and pink as well and would they like me to e-mail them a photo of the eggs. Then I signed it with my full name. If I happen to get a response I will share it with all of you. I am still laughing about this as is goathater. I don't think he was surpised about it, he claims I been acting a bit off this week, because some planets have aligned with the moon or something. Well off to bed have a good nite all....LOL
