Hi Helene, I have to agree with Linda. WE have Boer and boer crosses and they will come in heat more than other does so we keep our bucks away from the does until breeding time. They run with our does all winter or until they are just about due to kid and then they go back to the buck pen. We don't want to take a chance of the does getting bred back right away and I have no idea when that could happen. It is very hard on a doe to get bred and have baby's more than once a year.
