For sucking lice, mites, and nose bots we use ivermectin 1% cattle injectable. The dosage my vet gave me here in Minnesota was 1 cc per 100 lbs under the skin (SQ) and it does sting. For just the biting lice we have used Synergized De-Louse with good results. For small kids Seven dust. Just found out too that Ivermectin has a generic brand lots cheaper its called Promectin. For a 500 ml bottle of Promectin @ my vet clinic cost was $250.00 I about fell over when they told me the price but now thanks to Lila I can get it alot cheaper through PBS Livestock. Thanks Lila!
