She probably coughs because of the way she swallows the milk. Runny eyes that aren't pinkeye is probably allergies.

I have a question about one of my boer bottle babies. She has had a wet cough since we got her about a month ago and it seems present mostly when we give her her bottle. (She'll cough every blue moon when she's not eating but it will still sound the same as when she is eating.) She has a little overbite and eats much slower than the other baby but sucks just as hard (overbite issue I'm sure). Wondering if the milk isn't being swallowed correctly because of the overbite. Never had a temp or anything but I am concerned about the cough nonetheless. She plays with the other little doe and acts perfectly normal. Her one eye always seems to be a bit goopy though. She had pick eye a couple of weeks back and it went right away-no other problems at all-eats hay and grass and feed and water just fine.

Any ideas?

Also many of my does have watery eyes alot-is that just an allergy or should I be looking for a larger problem?

Thanks!
Cindy
