Sounds like she is aborting or has aborted. Not much you can do there except let nature take its course. Kids born much more than a week early are usually born dead or die very shortly after. Fetuses can be very small you are not likely to find any tissues or bodies if she is less than half way. If she is with the buck, take him or her away. An aborting or kidding doe smells just like a doe in heat and he will breed her whether she wants it or not.

Take her temperature to see if she has a fever, normal is 101.5 to 103.5, most goats are about 102 or so. If she has a fever she may need antibiotics.

Not eating can also be a sign of hypocalcemia or pregnancy toxemia. To date the best recommendations I have found for treating this is to give both CMPK (a calcium, magmesium, potassium and phosphorus supplement usually in gel or liquid form at any feed store).. Give this every 3 to 4 hours about 1/4 the cattle dose. Also mix up a batch of Magic (1 part molasses, one part vegetable oil, 2 parts karo syrup mix with a bit of warm water to thin it and drench her with 2 to 3 ounces (1/4 to 1/3 cup) 3 to 4 times a day. Do this until she is back eating again.

I have a Nubian (solid white) who started getting a little blood on her tail(the wagging part)
yesterday. Now Today there's quite a bit more. She is quite fat, we think s}he's preg., not sure as she ran from buck, but shouldn't be due for a while. She is only eating leaves, won't take grain even by hand. I am worried she could be sick. If she were going into labor, should she be having a bloody discharge? I normally only have Pygmys, and have never had one do this, I saw a small clot (cut green bean sized) come out last night, but nothing else is going on. Help?
