Hi, A friends goat has an udder problem. She is an older goat and is not bred, but her udder is swollen, she does not seem to be in pain? What shold be done abot this udder problem, is this normal for an older non bred goat?

This is fairly common and often related to hormonal changes. Does her goat come into heat more often than normal perhaps? Both of these signs can point toward cystic ovaries.
