Hi,

I have a female boer with severe inflammation on her rectal area. We wormed her with Cydectin about a week ago and have been applying Screw Worm Aerosol, as well. I am not noticing any long-term improvement ensuing. The area is bloody, appears hemorrhoidal and seems to worsen with stress. What do I need to do at this point and what might this be? Thanks.

Could she have a prolapsed rectum? Try Preparation H instead of the screw worm spray. Much more soothing and healing. Screw worm spray would be an insecticide/repellent right? Probably doesn't feel real good and may be contributing to the problem.
