It is never too late for CD&T shots. Those that have never had any need a series of two, give one then 3 weeks later give a second. All goats need a yearly booster, 1 shot only. All get the same dosage, 2 cc. Give it sub q. We like to pull up some loose skin just behind the front leg. Stay away from giving shots in the back legs as there are worlds of nerves to do permanent damage to. The CDT normally leaves a bump but usually goes away in time. Helps to rub the site some to help disperse the medication. Kay just started with nigerians two months ago. Some had their 2nd CD&T shot at 8 wks. - 3 I got at 1 month and have yet to give them a shot, They are now 3 monthsold. Is it too late? How do I go about it? I also got a pygmy baby at 8 wks. (now 12 weeks) He has had no shots of any kind - what should I do with him - he is a buck and I also notice he has one testicle full and one the size of a grape Will this change.
