Any chance she could be pregnant? Sounds like she could be aborting, if not I would guess vaginal infection. Have you taken her temp? Kay: I am a pet goat owner and at the moment feel like an idiot. I have a 7 year old female pygmy goat who's main purpose in life is to be with my horses. This morning I noticed a small amount of blood around her vagina. I cleaned her up and found nothing in the way of an injury, etc. This evening again there was a small amount of bloody discharge (this was fresh blood). Her temperature is normal and is eating well. Her urine is clear and stools are fine. Fought me tooth and nail when I tried to clean her so behavior is okay. Does anyone out there have any idea what I am dealing with? Please e-mail me privately. Thanks for your time. I'm a worried mommy.
