My family and i have just purchased a alpine 4yr old doe with one 5week old doe kid. Our first milking my wife did and it was great the when i tried i got alot of milk but it had blood settle in the the bottom of the glass jar the next morning we are geeting less blood each day we have checked her for any lumps or redness arond the teats or the udder there are none. I have talked to a friend and he said i was to rough. When i milker her i pinch off the teat and squeeze i get a stronger stream then my wife am i squeezing to hard and did i hurt her or could it be mastitis. What is to hard no one is able to put it into words? Thanks Tom
