Well I wouldn't think it was founder/laminits because you would have felt heat in the hoof. But make sure even if very heavy milking does you increase their grain gradually! If you have her feet trimmed down nice, couldn't imagine it being rot or it would smell. Check between the toes really well, had a doe have a small piece of wire wedged up in there once. Not a clue, of course how it got there or where the wire came from :) If I was just pure guessing I would guess that she pulled a muscle while pusing the kids out, especially if she braced herself against the barn wall and pushed against it, and especially if it is her right front leg, the one they push with. If it is her left front leg, the one that is under them while pushing, then I haven't a clue! What a horrible answer! Sorry! Vicki McGaugh
