I should have ask you how you castrated, when, and why you think its tetanus. Usually with tetanus there is a backward arching of the head and neck, not turned to the side. Affected animals adopt a wide base or "sawhorse" stance, and the tail and ears become stiff. Does there appear to be difficulty opening the mouth, Prolapse of the third eyelid may occur. When down, the book describes rigid extension of all limbs. This is not what you are discribing, it may not be tetanus!
Does he have a temp? Or is it sub normal? Was he just weaned? Possibly severe dehydration. You haven't discribed any neurological signs. Just those of a sick baby.
Maybe look for a pneumonia.
In case it is polio, dose for the thiamine content of your Fort B complex. you need to give 10mg/kg of body weight ( 1 kg= 2.2lbs ) every 6 hrs for 24 hrs. Dexamethasone at 0.1mg/kg in severe cases to reduce cerebral edema.
