I can't say for sure if they are dominate. I can tell you my experience. I bought a 1/2Lamancha-1/2 Boer. It's mother was Lamancha and father a boer. She had the Lamancha ears. She has raised 3 sets of twins since I have had her. The first two sets, there was a kid with the Lamancha ears and the other had the boer ears. The last set just recently born, both had boer ears. All 3 sets had the Boer color. So, I don't know how dominate they are, but those short ears are still showing up in her kids, which have all been 3/4 Boer and 1/4 Lamancha. She is the only Lamancha mix that I have and I keep her around for a conversation piece. Most goat "rookies" that visit my place thinks my doe has a birth defect, with those short ears. However, when those rookies learn that it is a normal trait of the Lamancha goat, they have all wanted one of her short-eared kids. I have never had a problem selling her offspring. She is a good goat and a very good mother.
