Thanks for the feedback. My question now is that I wormed exactly 5 months ago using Valbazen & Ivomec according to proper dosage. My doe is ready to kid any day now. Are there any risks involved by worming her this close to kidding?
In response to the introduction of anything new in the environment? Because of the weather change here (being winter in Maryland), I have all of my sheep and goats on a good hay now. That would be the only thing. Usually they browse.
I just want to be very careful because her sister, my only other doe, died about 4 months ago. So she is the only doe I have left. I have been searching furiously for a couple of more Alpines, but in this area they seem to be difficult to come by.
