I would recommend either taking your does to a buck or leasing one. If you buy one for 2 does and they have doe kids and you want to keep them you wouldn't want to breed them to their sire so you would need another buck. Wait till you have more does to buy a buck unless you are sure you will not keep any doe kids. Problem is if you are hooked on goats you will end up keeping more. Also think about that breeding now will make first of June kids. If you live where it is real hot it is pretty hard on most does to kid in the summer time.
