If your doe has just freshened and the only problem was a few red dots on the filter, I'd say to keep an eye on her and react if it got worse. By "lumps" do you mean there are chunky pieces (for lack of a better description) in the milk? Are they slimy?

Whenever anything is abnormal with the milk (and even if I think the udder feels a tad too warm) I check for mastitis with the CMT. If you have any question about the quality of the milk or the health of an udder, start checking. Mastitis can be a horrible thing if not treated. Should you get a positive result with the CMT, have the milk checked to see what type of mastitis the doe has. Your vet should be able to help you with this and advise you on proper treatment.

Whatever you do, do it quickly. Should anything be wrong, the longer you wait, the harder it will be to remedy.

Wish I could be of more help.
