A few months ago my goat,Zeke, started to lose some of his hair around his front hooves. At first we thought that it was because he was getting through the barbed wire fence. When he would try to go through it his feet would get cought and he would just give a big pull and we thought that was why the hair was gone from around his hooves. But even after we got the fence fixed the problem only worsened. It ended up he was chewing at his feet. The women we purchesed him from said she had the same problem during wet wether. It had been raining almost all month so we thought that must be it. The women said it was a type of fungus and to bleach and use moter oil on it to help it heal. She said it would take a while, but its been almost a month and we haven't had much progress. He is know chewing up his leg all the way to his knees.Does anybody know what this is and how to cure it.I would be very happy if anyone has any idea to get back to me.I would like to clear this up before August so I can take him to the fair.Thank You! Red
